Default gsr-t not hitting vtec...

hello all! Got a little problem with my diy turbo install. I have the following : 450cc inj's (not dsm's), walbro 255, adj. fpr at 40psi, vafc2, msd sci-l, t3, 8psi wastegate, hks ssqv.
I took the car out two days ago and after no leaks were evident I wanted to see if I could hit a little boost. I have the vafc set at -40 and it gradually goes to -35 towards redline.
I hit boost for just a second, then the car kicked down in rpm's by about 1k. I drove for a couple of minutes and the rest of the time when vtec engaged, the motor just kicked down the same way. I get no cel's or anything. I have no idea why this is happening.
This has been eating at me for the last two days. Today I noticed a high pitched metal on metal type of vibration and took off my intake tube. It looks like the turbo has too much shaft play. I have to take it off and send it back to majestic turbo in waco TX. I want to see if anyone has had the same problem so I can remedy it before the turbo gets back.
I can't seem to hit boost at all anyway. When the motor kicks down, it is not even boosting. I looked and it was at -2psi on the vafc when it kicked down. All my charge piping is tightened down to the point of breaking and I don't hear any vacuum leaks. My oil feed line was hooked into the oil pressure sensor on the back of the motor, could this cause the weird vtec "knockdown"? I am making an appointment to get it tuned but I want to make sure the damn thing is working first.
Also, is it normal for the turbo NOT to spin at idle?? cause that is what mine was doing........
Thanks for any and all insight!!

something clogged your oil feed line or there's too tight of a bend in it.

your turbo keeps seizing, thats why your car keeps slowing down

i cant feel the vtec in my car at all. maybe its just me?

I am taking the turbo out tomorrow. There are no bends in the oil line at all , and it is braided stainless. I will check for blockage. I swore that there was oil flowing but who knows. Thanks for the advice!
