Default gsr engine size 4 turbo

tried searcing but didnt find anything to give me a good answer. i would like to turbo my gsr but it be worth it to bore my eng. to 2.0l. and BTW if i go turbo im going ALL OUT i mean full internals 9:0 compression ratio iron sleeved just all out and mayb a t3/t4 60-1 turbo and pushing a minimum of 15psi. or would it be bettr to stay the stok 1.8

When I asked the same question most engine builders said is you wont gain as much as you think from the added displacement as you could from just boosting more. And they like to save the extra bore for later down the road when the sleeves are damaged you can bore it out and resleeve. Earl is a good person to talk to about this.
