I have the chance to buy GSR cams for a really good price, and i'm just wondering if it's really worth it on my set up. My set up is as follows...

Stock B16a
T3/T04e
Mini ram mani
3" down pipe
Dump tube plummed into the down pipe
Kteller 3" piping
MagnaFlow muffler
MagnaFlow 3" cat
Vibrant resonator
Edelbrock intake mani
Stock Throttle body

I plan on boosting 10psi, well if the motor will let me that is. I will be running a chipped ECU from my tuner.

what amount of power are you thinking that a set of cams is going to give you that an extra psi couldnt do?

I know that GSR cams have shown gains on b16's but on a stock motor depending on power output that u are looking at, honestly i would say that it may not be worth it just my opinion though.

 

for the price and the gains i think it worth it you can pick up a set of gsr cams for around 60-100 bucks

 

go for them.
