GSR Buildup
I droped in a drag 3 on my gsr, soon after my rings went. My car has only 20,000 miles. I'm planning on going with 9.0 to 1 JE piston with Eagle rods. I'm about to send my block to a machine shop to get it honed, should i get it bored or should i keep the stock bore? What do your guys recomend for my rebuild? Any tips and hints are greatly accepted. I want the car to be a reliable daily driver. Thanks in advance.

If the JE's are a factory bore, then you shouldn't need to bore it out (least that's what i'd think), just rehone the sleeves. Anybody else?

What is this crap?
Re: GSR Buildup (GSRacer)
its new to me also, man. I say all honda OEM parts. The only thing that you might consider is some different head gasket manufacturers, but only if you need to vary compression or running high high boost.
stan, same here, then i think about a 9-second battery and i start to laugh.

Go nuts, and do it right the fist time...
Eagle rods, JE pistons (stock bore), full rebuild on the bottom end (balanced, and with new bearings and fun stuff like that), stock honda headgasket.
Hondata 2b and some RC 440's so you can *feel* safe that you are supplying your new, expensive bottom end with the proper amount of fuel. (Then take the car to the track and make ur $$ back...)
Tom
good luck man.

Re: GSR Buildup (Tomakit)
If you want to run more boost I would suggest having sleeved. I would not have it bored out, the sleeves are already the weaklink in the setup.
