GSR block damaged in shipping. Pics inside- THoughts?
i packaged it as best i could. i thought it was golden!!
I think it will be ok. Any thoughts. I know thats the notorious spot for oil seeping.

mine leaks a small amount of oil...
isnt that right where the tab sticks out from your head gasket?
i think it should be ok..
maybe deck it and make sure its all even...

If your feeling extra paranoid get some permatex aviation sealant and put a little bit on the corners above and below the gasket. I used to use this stuff all the time on old aircooled VW’s.
