GSR block damaged in shipping. Pics inside- THoughts?

Default GSR block damaged in shipping. Pics inside- THoughts?

i packaged it as best i could. i thought it was golden!!









I think it will be ok. Any thoughts. I know thats the notorious spot for oil seeping.

mine leaks a small amount of oil...

isnt that right where the tab sticks out from your head gasket?

i think it should be ok..

maybe deck it and make sure its all even...

Shouldn't UPS cover the damages? Did you write 'Fragile' on the packaging?

the box had heavy and fragile stickers..

UPS is a douchebag as far as filing claims. Its a waste of my time, I tried in the past. They never pay out

If your feeling extra paranoid get some permatex aviation sealant and put a little bit on the corners above and below the gasket. I used to use this stuff all the time on old aircooled VW’s.
