the GS-R is gone
my baby..: my '94 GS-R that ryan autry and myself have toiled and troubled over for so long is now gone.. but in good hands.
Reilly is now the proud owner.
we finally got it into the 12's. i'm happy.. but i had to sell the ol' girl.
in her place is going to be a 1993 R1 model RX-7. this is my new "project"/daily driver. i pick her up tomorrow (8/21) assuming it's in as good of condition as they guy says.
hey, at least i still get to drive the acura!
REILLY: i expect to see 11's now, right??

Re: (nigel)
robert is ALWAYS gonna do the mustang thing LOL. we all love my car. i just love FDs more..so the car is going to a good home.. if not, i'd keep it. i'm happy either way, just have to opportunity to get a car i've always wanted. the FD can run 12s pretty easily too.. so i'm fine with that. it will just cost a bit more to do.
Robert has the resources needed to get the GS-R done faster than i, so it's all good. how knows.. maybe one day i'll buy it back from him LOL

you have NO idea how paranoid i've been! i rip out everything i possibly can, plus secrets that i have.. let's just say someone would need a van full of car parts as well and a way to read my mind to find out WHY the car won't start!
THANK GOD it's not another stolen car thread!

I was originally thinking this post was about another stolen honda. Sorry to hear you're selling it. I'm putting my integra up for sale too very soon. I'm planning on purchasing an NSX. (Used of course)

Re: (E Swift)
dude... i mean aside from beating the **** outta someone who would be trying to steal your car... but would it not be funny as hell to see some stupid goof who thinks he's going to get your car easy... in there like "WTF i SWEAR i saw him start this thing in like 5 seconds..."
i dunno, i think it would be just funny as hell to watch and then proceed to beat the hell out of him with a hammer.
probably wont ever happen, but that would make a great video... "what we do to theives around here" !
/OT

Re: (lazerus)
*update* i can not find a decent FD anywhere... also i have about $8k to spend on my GS-R INSTEAD of buying the FD..
so.... $8k put into a 12-sec GS-R would make for a very fast, reliable car.
i think i'm doing that instead of of the FD. i'll let ya'll know when i'm done.
i'm researching engine builders, etc, as we speak.
i'm glad. i would have hated to lose the integra
