when i shut off the ignition the cars just shuts off along with the turbo timer..

it powers up... and i set the time to 30 seconds.. but then it just turns off when i turn the car off, does this happened because of the stock alarm?
Id check the wires and what mode you have the time set on. Took me forever to figure it out.
Not to hijack, but what about the purple and brown wire. My spedo option does not work, so im guessing its for that or something. How do you hook that up and is it worth going back in and hooking up.

check your connection at the ebrake. I used a wire tap on mine and at first it wasnt making a connection. and make you sure you have the ebrake pulled up when you turn your car off of course. The VSS wire is just for time attack and safety features.
try switchin over that switch on the back of the unit..mine was all wired up correctly and i switched that switch on the back over and messed with that and it started working perfectly...i still have no clue how i really did it,but it works
I wire mine up just like the picture had it and mine works fine the only problem i have is with my alarm now i cant lock the doors if the turbo timer is on i have a alpine alarm is there something else i need to do?
leave your ebrake down and try it. I metered out my connection on my '92 DA and I was getting the opposite voltage that the TT requires, so I never bothered hooking it up. Doesn't matter now because it got stolen =P
