I assume you're talking about the SOHC kit, as the DOHC kits come with injectors as well.

The SOHC kits have gone through more than 1 variation. The ones that I am aware of are:

1. The original kit: came with a less efficient turbo, had black box for fuel.
2. The 2nd version of the kit: turbo was upgraded, fuel control included a blue box AND non-adjustable FMU.
3. The current kit: blue box is replaced by emanage unit. I am not sure if they still include the FMU.

If anyone sees any errors, feel free to correct them.

HTH,
- Slater

no no 92-95 now comes with e-manage thats what i got, it all depends on where u bought it from and how long they've had it laying around but greddy is definitely shipping them out with e-manages now.

No, blue box is the older kit. Not the oldest kit, but the older kit.

The newest kits come with emanage. ALL new kits have been updated with emanage - even the 92-95 kits. Basically they got rid of the blue box (good byu and good riddance).

Black box (super old)
Blue Box (semi-old)
E-manage (all new kits)

its a piggy back and its excellent for what it is. Hondata and aem are standalone systems and can offer many more features.

my friend has the emanage system, and it looks better than it really is. it is a nice system and all, but it has its limitations. You cant just add on extra stuff without completely retuning it. greddy has a password on it and it wont allow you to tune unless you start from scratch. but, the unit is definetly better than a fmu or blue box.

only the emanage units that come with the turbo kits have a password. I have 2 units and have installed 1 on a friends mr2 and none of them have had a password.

So when you tuned your friends cars, did you start from scratch? How user friendly are the tuning capabilities?

Do you know what greddy actually tuned in the presets? How much do they actually do?
