greddy turbo kit help

Default greddy turbo kit help

hey guys im looking to order a greddy turbo kit. i would love to get the edelbrock but they are about twice the price so i think im gonna get the greddy kit. what im wondering is if somebody would let me in on the pros and cons of this kit. thanks in advanced.

Pros:
Easy to install
has everything to run 5.5psi

Cons:
No BOV
No Intercooler
Small downpipe
Limited upgradability
Small turbo
Shitty e-manage
poorly flowing manifold

ok so what is another kit i could start with that would be a better one for a reasonably close price to the greddy one. ive thought about just making my own kit but i dont know enough to do that so what would you guys do?

no other kit is as cheap as the greddy one, and please dont go on ebay and buy an ssautocrap kit...

no ive read plenty of bad about ssautochrome i wont even look at it. haha what is a kit that comes pre-tuned you would recomend?

why do people buy greddy kits then if nothing of them is any good?

they aren't that bad if you're not looking for much over 250whp...i've got a brandnew greddy kit for sale right now, cause i want to get much more power then that...i ended up building my block so i'm going to run much bigger turbo and manifold...i'll pm you the list of stuff

the only really good thing is the greddy kit is good for beginnersi it comes with everything you dont need to worry about some random fitting is missing or whatever, i guess thats the biggest PRO for the kit, but if you have enough knowledge you can build your own kit with much better parts for the same price...

well i know the parts to a turbo kit and all that but my thing is the closest dyno and guy who will tune is 6 hours away. so im kinda looking for something like the edelbrock kit that comes pre-tuned. i am assuming you cant buy anything pre-tuned for a custom kit because there is such a variety of how to make your kit?
