Default Need help with my turbo

I have 2 problems, what should i do? can i fix it?

1. a lot of shaftplay

2. exhaust side housing is cracked...look

rebuild kit, $75. dont worry about the exhaust housing, those smallish cracks wont effect ****

The rebuild kit would take care of the shaft play, the new exhaust housing would take care of the cracked one.

Sounds to me like that would work.

does the turbine hit the housing? like if u pull the turbine and spin it at the same time, does it scrape?

if it does the turbos garbage.

if not. bolt it on and run it, those cracks wont effect anything.

Yep those mitsu turbos "feel" pretty sloppy even when they are fresh, like the guy above me said if the blades don't hit, run it.The turbine housing is nothing to worry about either, it might affect spool a little bit due to exhaust pressure escaping through the WG flapper but it should work just fin other than that.

the blades do hit when i moved the turbine and it touches the housing..

DOH! That's your biggest worry. My turbo had cracks on the inside of the exhaust housing like that too but I ran it, no problems yet.
