greddy sohc manifold problems

Default greddy sohc manifold problems

the manifold wont go in straight ?
does anyone else with this kit had this happen too ?
anyways , what should i do ? bang it with a rubber mallet ?
any ideas ?

Is it getting caught up on the holes for the studs? Mine did that too. I just got a drill bit fit it to the stock manifold and then drilled out the new manifold for a nice fit.

if it's not too bad, then bang it in with rubber mallet. If there is too much in the way then you might want to drill a little bit.

Might wanna use caution as to banging it with a mallet. Not so much for the manifold, but you can easily damage the threads on the studs while you're forcing the manifold over them.

Are you sure the manifold didn't warp at all? My GReddy mani fit like a glove..

yea my mani fit on like cake. in fact everything from the greddy kit fit on perfectly like stock
