Default Greddy.....replace or rebuild?

Gotta Greddy TD04 kit on my 98 EX....Seals are leaking and I need some options.....Did alot of searching and cant find any good info.

I like this turbo (spools fast) and would like to keep it or something similar

Thanks for all input.

rebuild it if you like it but you might be surprised how much of a difference a better, newer turbo is. then again, you would most likely have to get a new DP and oil fittings and it would be a big PITA, just get it rebuilt.

Greddy turbo' s are not rebuildable. You have to buy the center cartridge which includes all new blades and bearing but not the housings. I have the Greddy T78 on my Civic and needed to rebuild also but no one can rebuild them. MSRP on my T78 cartridge was $900.00. I paid $750.00 but your turbo is much smaller so I assume it would be cheaper.

Just talked to Ken at cheapturbo.com and he said that they rebuild them all the time.....Td04s that is....Its a mitsu turbo with a funny flange.....said should be around 325 to rebuild....If any of you have dealt with this company let me know!

I guess the big Greddy turbo's aren't rebuildable. I haven't used or tried to rebuild any of Greddy's smaller turbo's. Sorry for misleading you. Never dealt with cheapturbo.com before...just make sure they have warranty.

The 18g is rebuildable so im guessing the 15g is also. I rebuilt mine at http://www.majesticturbo.com/ Down time was about a week and they had great customer service.
