What are your opinions on which is better, disregard money cuz I can get either for about the same price. Advantages & disadvantages of both? Thanks

 

i think most of these guys will tell you... PROFECB.

 

that seems to be the consensus, but I wonder why the 'A' is so much more expensive (retail) than the 'B'

 

the A unit has "fuzzy logic" in order to help learn and improve boost control/response, where the B doesnt, Sport Compact Car this month did a review of a few different boost controllers, and they liked the B over the A (especially performance wise), the A had some problems with internal wastegate and boost creep of their test car, where the B worked flawless.

A lot of people I have talked to who had an A sold it and got a B, a lot of people swear by the PRofecB's

I would get a B if i was deciding between the two.

Look in the newest issue of Sport Compact Car, and you'll see that the Profec B performs much better than the Profec A at controlling boost.

 

even at the dyno, the tech said the b is best amongst many others.
