Greddy exhaust manifold question
I am going to be installing a Greddy 15g turbo on my d16y7 hatch next week and i had two questions. First i need the gasket that goes between the exhaust manifold and down pipe and don't know where to get it. Second does the Greddy downpipe from the td04h-15g kit end in the same place a stock y7 header ends? So if i bought a full exhaust system will it bolt right up?

Re: Greddy exhaust manifold question
dont worry about the gasket, as long as both are straight and clean nothing will leak
and the exhaust should end up in about the same spot, it may need some custom work

Re: Greddy exhaust manifold question
I had a problem with my tial wastegate gasket conencting to my JG manifold but like the previous post says I wouldn't even worry about the gasket. I just took the blown gasket out since there is a stainless steel surface where the wastegate and manifold meets. If you're talking about your engine block gasket in between your manifold and the block you don't need a special gasket for that you can get that gasket at any auto parts store since the turbo manifold should be aligned to OEM specs.

manifold and downpipe?? are you talking about the exhaust elbow off the turbine side? if its before the turbo I run gaskets on the block and this crazy military grade high temp rtv on the turbine inlet. there is WAY more pressure before the turbo than after the gasses exit out the turbine wheel.
