IT was funny when you asked are you scared,,, I said yea to myself before your tuner did...lol
Are you sure that thing isnt a diesel with all that noise..Are you going to replace the pistons in it? Do you know what brand the pistons in it are? I had some arias piston that had just a little to much P2W and they were just fine in my gsr for a while.

Glad the tune was good for you. Pretty nice setup for that much power @ 25psi. Go and have fun for the rest of the season. I look forward to the thread about the rebuild over the winter.

Re: Got tuned today. big surprise inside.
thanks derek, i havnt got around to scanning it yet
yeah loose as a 90 year old **** star
they are arias , over winter its getting rebuilt. probably with CP pistons, i just like them better then any other.
well the set up is very basic, the fuel system is all stock except 1000 cc inj and walboro 255, the block is a worn out 84 mm ls crank b18c1, eagle rods , arias pistons. head is ITR cams, skunk2 springs titanium retainers and manley flat top oem size valves. edelbrock intake, full race turbo kit ( one of jeff evans old set ups ) gt35r82 turbo. OEM ignition. NGK (8)iridium plugs gapped to .018. oh and of course a JS boost controller for perfect boost control

Re: Got tuned today. big surprise inside.
gt35r82 i credit some of the fast spool to the boost controller design.
i am ready to loose and or blow up i cant wait 3 weeks to race so i should be racing it this weekend. i hope it stays together for the nov 1st event

This thing made great power for such a simple setup.
It definitely needs a fuel pump though. A bosch 044 and some bosch 1000cc injectors and 700+ here we come! (maybe anothe turbo too :p)
And you had to show me saying I was scared.. I didn't want to get taken out by any flying debris while tuning it. Who knows what was going to pop out of there!
