What kind of boost gauge? Usually it's just a matter of deduction, if two out of three sensors are reading the same or very similar, than number 3 is probably off.
I really don't trust boost gauges much, I find that the MAP sensors are much more accurate than the run of the mill boost gauges which almost always read off. Another reason may be that the boost gauge line has a leak.
How much of a psi increase when you are on the dyno, and did you try tuning for the increase?
