Default Got sick of my Thermal 3" being too loud...

So I ordered one of these the other day. Its going in right after the downpipe, I sure hope it helps quiet it down! I'll post pics when it's in.

That will help a lot. I have one on my Thermal 3" and it sounds much better now, not to mention a lot quieter.

Yeah I was going to pick one of those up but this was only ~$40

So you guys think this will help, huh? It's almost two feet long (23.5") so I'm thinking it should do the trick.

Don't expect too much. I got one put on my custom w/Magnaflow last week. Of course I think mine is quiter than the Thermal to begin with.

you can expect to pay anywhere beteen 500-600. Its a whole system from the cat back. But its obvious that you have to modify your cat to make it fit cause its 3 inch.

Has anyone installed one of those 3 inch resonators that viren sells. I have one but havent had it installed yet. Just wondering.

gone is the rumble coming off throttle and at cruising speeds when you go on and off the throttle.

go with the resonator and pay for someone to weld it in well in the straight section of pipe, it is less restrictive (not at all restrictive) than the stealth which reduces horsepower by adding backpressure and lowering the exit diameter of the exhaust.

im all about the sound (loudness)
id rather the deep tone my Thermal 3" exhaust puts out over the high pitch annoying exhaust sound like tanabe or apex'i.

Thermal is loud! In NA form it sounds nasty.
Thermal uses the least amount of composite deadening material.
They're basically canisters stuffed with stainless steel wool.
Fibre/composite blocks + steel wool ..is the best IMO.
When it comes to sound suppression, Thermal is poo
