Got my car back and HAPPY as F@ck!! Hondata all the way!!
Well as some of you know I had the engine recently built and I have had the car in the shop for the past 2 weeks waiting to get tuned and I got her back today with AWESOME results that surpassed my expectations! Well unfortuneately I have to wait on dynographs till Monday due to laptop that has it was in use but anyhow I dynoed 325whp and 270ft/lb of torque to the wheels at 15 psi and about 285-290 not sure at 12 psi, can;t remember what he said torque was. HONDATA is definitely an awesome setup for the street/strip, and I didn't expect the outcome that I got. Sorry if my writing is out of wack but I am still pumping gizm everywhere with a huge smile! Idle quality is pretty decent with the 750cc injectors and the car is just ripping through every gear. Guys I hope this experience of mine will influence most of you guys out there who haven;t got a hondata for your setup to get it and if $$$ is the issue then save till you can purchase it before you waste money on anything else. I'll post dyno graphs this week coming up. Thnaks to you guys for influencing and stressing how important an engine management is . ( Turbogsr, Arturbo,Dustin, and a few others!!!) Thanks people!!.

Re: Got my car back and HAPPY as F@ck!! Hondata all the way!! (immortal)
Sup John, yeah man definitely is no VW, though I still think VW had more personality for some reason if you know where I am coming from dude.
Black94RS: Setup is as follows,
Greddy turbo kit w/Type 24 IC (smaller one)
JE 9:1 pistons (stock bore stock sleeves)
Crower Rods
Blockguard
AEM fpr
Holley 750cc injectors (Resistor box)
Hondata 3b.
2.5" dp to full 3" custom exhaust
Thats it, as simple as a buildup can get man, stock fuel rail, stock intake manifold.
Thanks again fellas,
Nick

Wow! Sweet numbers. I'm have the exact same setup as you and my car should be done in a couple of days. Hopefully my numbers will be like yours.....although that'll be tough:
#1: No Hondata
#2: RC 440cc Injectors.....hopefully I can make due at 1bar..... ::sigh::

OMFG!! Yeah thats what I like to see from the greddy kit!! Im so happy a fellow SONET guy was able to get those numbers. My goal is 300whp, which Im just shy of, but if I got what you have I'd be smiling all day long.
Viren, I need to buy a dyno now!!

Nick,
who do you usually go to at sfp? Frank, Abid, or Paul? Too bad Juan is no longer there, cause ive known him for years. Real good guy.
If I cant get Frank who is the next best guy? Abid or Paul?

Re: Got my car back and HAPPY as F@ck!! Hondata all the way!! (SO3Burner)
boost killz!!!!!!
that's awesome! that's what i've been waiting to hear!!!
my setup will we similar to yours except that i'll be using 550's, paxton fpr, an IntegraLink ECU, and JE 10.0:1 comrpession pistons. i head my head cleaned and fresned up...new seals...didn't need anything else. i'm keeping the stock rods, since i'll be under 350 hp, and i'm also going to run water/alcohol injection to keep things cooler and safer at the higher compression...
man i am happy for you!
now i REALLY can't wait to get my car back.
may it's days be long upon the earth...
get those dynos up!!!

Quick quesiton w/ hondata...if you adjust boost it reads the boost and adjusts the fuel curve to the correct boost amount right?

Re: Got my car back and HAPPY as F@ck!! Hondata all the way!! (Etylorcen)
John: Yeah man I believe they tapped the fuel rail a slight bit larger bit to accomodate the 750's. I forgot to ask exactly but it's not a big deal from they said.
Yes I retained the stock head...
So3burner: I dealt with Abid but as far as build it was done by Frank and one of his mechs... but tuning was done with both Abid ad Frank.
Etylorcen: Hondata is boost dependant. Fuel and ignition maps adjust accordigly to amount of boost thats mapped on the system.
I could have gone higher on boost but unfortuneately the INTERNAL wastegate held me back since it began to spike. Regardless the car is ripping the street up nice as hell. The reason I went with the 750cc is due to the fact I may go with a bigger turbo to complient those 750's in the future. Idle quality again is pretty good but slightly lumpy when the headlights are on creating more load it gets pretty rich at idle but I can deal with that. Thanks again guys!!!!
Big thumbs up to the guys at SFP:
Nick

Re: Got my car back and HAPPY as F@ck!! Hondata all the way!! (boost killz)
AWESOME MAN!! Im gonna get the Greddy Kit as soon as I get my Tax return back, any how, so you replaced the "blue box" with Hondata and it instantly reconfigures the cars ECU and all that? As u can tell Im not 100% sure what Hondata does, i know its a "stand alone" FUel Mang. etc ...
Care to shed some light on for my future plans for a Greddy Kit?
