Is This A Good Price For This Bottom End?
Ok, this guy I know is selling all his turbo parts & his engine. It's a b16a2. I just want the bottom end. This is what is all included. Everything has about 2000-2500 miles on it. 1st 1500 with no boost. It has 175 comp across the board.
9.2:1 JE Pistons (flat top, radiused), Crower Rods, Westwood Wrist Pins, Total Seal Rings, Darton Sleeves, ACL Bearings, Balanced Crank, Prodrive Oil Pump Gear, New Water & Oil Pump.
He is wanting $1300 for it. Is this a good deal? I plan on getting the stage 1 full-race kit when the cash is around for it. I figure I can semi build my head & throw this bottom end on & have 1 quick streetable hatch. So all in all, is this a good deal? Thanks for those who reply.

sounds like a good deal if everything that you mentioned is on there.
Hopefully you can verify this by tearing it down and looking at it.
Personally i wouldnt really trust someone that built a block unless it was done by a reputable person or shop. Id recommend getting a second opinion from a friend that knows what to look for in blocks just to make sure everything is sound.
good luck
