Good Choice?
Would a Garrett T3/TO4E ,with a .48 A/R turbine and a 50 trim wheel be good for a stock b16 in a 99 Si? I'm only looking for 250-275 whp and i want a semi-quick spool, but I don't want it to fall off horribly on the top-end.The one i'm looking at is a reman from Turbo Calculator.I noticed a lot of the pre-fab turbo kits come with a 57 trim T3/T04E...would that be a lot different than the 50T?...sorry about all the newb questions, most of my turbo experience comes from my DSM....it's a little different
(btw, it will be used on with a cast DRAG manifold, tial 35mm gate, hondata s100B,ITR cams, cometic headgasket, ARP studs, 2.5" DP/exhaust all on my stock B16A2)

dont buy from turbocalculator! Jon is a scammer. They are not Garrett turbos, the statement on the webpage is a lie. And worse he wont send you your money or turbo back when you find that it's broken out of the box!!!!
stories of turbocalculator might be true cause i have heard it before. but if you don't want 500whp........ the t3t4 .28 50 trim is a perfect match for a b16. only the gt28rs is better but a little more expencive.
Ok, does anybody know a reputable place to get a REAL garrett turbo with the specs I'm looking for a decent price, preferably new...?...thanks to those who have answered my questions' so far..
