I didn't know that braking systems had anything to do with turbos...

Get some good stainless steel lines and upgrade your pads.

I hope your not being scarasitic. if you are

Stock brakes are terrible if you turbo your car.

I'd go with Some brembo blanks and axxis ultimates. The brembo blanks are pretty cheap, about the same price as getting your stock rotors turned.

Id go with wilwood if I had the money. - but you need 17's I beleive.

No really, I haven't looked into brake upgrades much.

Yah I gotta run 17" rims with my Wilwood setup. If I were running smaller rims I would either go with the Fastbrakes setup or upgraded lines/pads.

Damn wilwoods look soo good though

I wouldnt go greenstuff, they warped my new rotors in less than a month, and Ive read numerous other people having the same problem.

yes but with a turbo, you get there so much faster so much more often.
at least i do.

if i was keeping my car, the first thing i would do would be to upgrade the brakes. having them fade at 100+ scared the **** outta me.

baer is doing some great brakes for 16" wheel, it's a 13x1.1 you can get some for wheel under 15 or 14, but it's 12" or less

I don't see the reason for upgrading, road race and AutoX guys beat the hell out of their brakes for extended periods of time and have no problems using stock, or near stock, setups. You will not stop sooner with a big brake kit, they will just be more resistant to fade, unless you are pushing the stock system beyond its limits save your money.

brembo blanks and pepboys raybestos ceramic pads lol...the pads are actually really nice and cheap. They're quiet, barley dust, and stop awesome.

I had the same set-up as above and the braking was horrible... I bought a set of brembo blanks up front and front/rear Hawk HP plus race pads and they stop 100x better

yea but with turbo you get there quicker and with much more momentum which takes more force to slow down.

Anyone see this on fastbrakes?

http://www.fastbrakes.com/prod...BH03A

Its an 11" setup for civics/CRX that have 9.5" stock brakes, and it uses all OEM parts.

Pretty cheap too.
