Golden Eagle Oil Sandwich plate nut size QUICK HELP
What size is the nut you twist to install the GE sandwich adapter?
There are two main parts, a black outer part w/ oil galleys and a silver inner part. The silver inner part screws on to the threaded piece that sticks off the block. You need to twist the silver part onto the block, and then tighten it down w/ a wrench or socket of sorts. What size is that nut?

I THINK 27mm if I remember correctly. It could be 30mm though...
I know the Greddy one is 27mm for a fact though.

Re: Golden Eagle Oil Sandwich plate nut size QUICK HELP (yehiknowrite)
around 1 inch is the best measurement i could come up w/ A 15/16 is too small (largest socket i have) and 24mm is also small too. I just wasnt sure if it was going to be metric (27/26) or standard 1"

Re: Golden Eagle Oil Sandwich plate nut size QUICK HELP (Si Shane)
im home from work now...and i found my sandwich plate box from when it was installed.
from the instruction sheet:
9. Hold the sandwich plate clocked to your desired setting and tighten. Make sure the washer portion of the VTEC Conversion Kit/Turbo Oil Feed is sitting flush in the counter bore of the sandwich adapter. Using a 1" socket or open end wrench, tighten the sandwich plate. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN, THIS CAN CAUSE IRREVERSABLE DAMAGE TO THE BLOCK OR VTEC CONVERSION KIT/TURBO OIL FEED UNIT!! All you need to do is hand tighten the nipple by hand then tighten 1/4 turn or until the nipple will not turn under normal force. Some Loctite may be used to keep the nipple from loosening during oil changes.
i know you just needed the nut size, but i figured since you asked about the nut size, you didn't have the instructions...and there are some important reminders included in there.
hope that helps
