Default GM knock sensor with AEM EMS?

I search on the AEM forum, and don't find the information. Is it possible to use a GM knock sensor on a honda engine (with no OEM knock sensor) with the AEM EMS? If yes, which knock sensor should I use?

Thanks you very for your times and help

You want to look for knock sensors from an engine of similar dimensions and displacement. Why not use a honda sensor?

AEM tell that we could use any sensor we want, and the GM sensor are a lot cheaper than honda

Anyone have any opinions/info on OEM vs GM knock sensors? I have a stigma in my head that Honda OEM would be better quality...

I can ship you a honda KS for $50 ... use the honda is much easier and simpler.

GM sensors are tuned to the size of motor they run on, if you need to go with the honda knock sensor for your series of motor. but also remember that a honda knock sensor in a stock setup stops listening at 5000rpm. I wouldnt bother.
