Default GM 3 bar MAP sensor question

Wondered if you can still use these if running lower than say 11 psi?

What to fit it and get it out the way but am only gonna roll with 8 psi to start so can i still do away with the standard and go with this even on low boost?

Thanks

yes you can. i had my 3 bar and ran 9 psi for a year. but it wont work on a stock ecu with out some sort of management. the scaling from a 3 bar is different from the stock map.

Thanks again man, you seem to be helping me out alot recently lol!

I'm running on Hondata S300, just waiting for it back from Moates after socketing. They have stuck a basemap on it so am hoping now after swapping back to my original injectors from RC 550's i will be able to start it up at least when finished. I did tell them i had a 3 bar sensor so hopefully they allowed for that in the basemap

Thanks again bro
