Hell yeah!

That is a great write up.

It's interesting to see how Vince himself builds up a motor....

doesnt look like the z10 was dowled. I am pretty sure vince did it but not 100% positive. Looks great by the way ....

Doweling the z10 was mandatory i have done a few and it just better overall. ask geoff about doweling things.

Thanks Art! Yeah, I don't post that much on H-Tech. I mainly read the tech stuff. Oh yeah, for all the members wondering if the Z10 Girdle is dowelled (sp?), I really don't know. It's an off-the-shelf version...Vince might now. I'll ask him tomorrow. Can't wait to get a turbo for it!!

Not trying to bash anyone's work, but why use the girdle without the dowels? Kinda hinders the purpose of the girdle.

dowels are like the ones that line up the head with the bottom end, same concept, they keep the 2 parts aligned and from sliding, whle the bolts hold em down.

It's something nice to have, but not really needed. I'm using pistons to do the job of that thing. I don't know if there will be demand for it.

Yeah, it's just another tool to lose, and you already have the new pistons laying there.

No mention of balancing? Do they offer it? Or even recommend it?

Are you kidding me??? That has got to be the biggest waste of money if you were to buy one. Dude, turn your piston upside down and use it to push the rings down in the bore. This is a basic write up..I wouldnt suggest anyone use this write-up to build the bottom end of their motor.
