Gear Sets
I just wanted to know if you were to use the Quaife Gear set for the B16 with the 3.786 final drive on a turbo car would it be any use? i mean you would top out at about 160 i believe for Drag Racing Purpose and you get to 60mph in First. Plus you get to keep it Revved high and be in the power band.

gear input output ratio rev drop @ 8000 rpm shift
1 13 teeth 32 teeth 2.462 -
2 16 29 1.813 2109 rpm
3 18 27 1.500 1381 rpm
4 20 25 1.250 1333 rpm
5 22 23 1.045 1312 rpm
final 3.786
Thats the chart and with me switching gears at 9300 with that 3.786 final drive, my top speed would be 159.4 and with 4th gear at 133 at the track.
