So, with an aem and gm boost solenoid you wouldn't need to buy a turbo xs quad boost controller

I will be using the Innovative MSBC1. Its very easy to use and allows boost per gear via clutch switch. There is also a launch boost setting. You can also set the gain for each gear to bring on boost faster/slower.

Since when will the AEM do gear based boost control? Yes it can control boost based on vehicle speed but thats not the same, and dont even try to argue it is.

Not going to argue that it is the same but why do you say its not, or at least cannot be used to achieve the same result as gear dependent boost?

Also gear dependent boost control is currently being testing in the new beta version and will be included in the next software update..

This has always been my logic:

We all know gears are torque multipliers, like a lever. I can spin alot more in 2nd going 60mph than I can in 5th going 60mph. In that scnerio I think gear based boost control makes alot more sense.

If you are racing, then you start in the lowest gear that keeps you below redline, and shift at redline in each gear, right?
