gazzilionth Hondata problem...
First flip of the key, we get the slow blink. Car wouldnt start, some reason no fuel injector activity(seimen deka 1000cc versions).
Took the ecu out, and quadroople checked my soldering. All clean, all the chips in the correct direction(dimples running toward the harness correct???), no puddles running into eachother, all good.
Now, I plugged the ecu back in, and nothing. No lights whatsoever from the s200.
Am I missing something? All the fuses are fine in the car, and ya...
Im supremely confused/pissed off.

You are not getting power to the ecu if the light on the s200 is not lit. You might want to check your multi-color ribbon connection for breaks in the wires. The s200 gets powered through the ecu, so that is my best guess to why you have no red light.

Well I had problems on my 4b with no light and thus low fuel cut. I did have power at the outputs of my ecu (check with multimeter). I sent the unit off to hondata and they said everything was fine but when it came back now it all works. The only thing we changed was teh connector cable, so start stimple and go from there.

Make sure the 4-pin connector is mounted the right way (black wire = pin 1 = ground).
Yes, the indention on the chip should be on the harness side.

Well, we got it started...something was slightly shorting, preventing a full power supply to the ECU(not enough to blow the fuse, but enough to cause problems...wierd I know), BUT, Still getting the blink from the hondata. I guess for now we're gonna clip J1, and limp down 5 hours away to Tom Payn(idles better/responds better w/out the hondata functioning). Im surprised, at 20 psi idle fuel pressure, the car actually idles on these huge injectors. I think for the trip down, we're going to install some 200cc injectors that I have laying around thatll fit in the fuel rail correctly, etc.
Anything else to check besides that hondata harness? It appears to be in great condition(still coiled up from the factory, no nicks or anything), and the ground is on C1, so Im stumped...
