I'm a big Fan of Stewart Warner gauges. They work great, and a decent price. You do get what you pay for, but I'm not a fan of spending hundreds of dollars on defi gauges though. I'm using a stock GSR motor with an SC61 and I bought a boost gauge and oil pressure gauge, and I also bought a PLX M-300 wideband but that's not really considered a gauge.
i use to have defi bf gauges but i sold them for these, i liek eth exact digital read out and warning lights. i know the defis are probably better but these are less cluster mess and more direct accurate

they light up red or green
heres evans old set up id liek to build one soon but have them lite red

I just use Autometer Sport Comp gauges. They are fairly inexpensive and work fine.
I can't justify spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on gauges for a regular old street car.

cobalt are cool,
i chose swoosh cause my oem gauges are white lettered- and so are the swoosh.
Cobalts are blue so they wouldnt match my schema. Good product tho!
annnddd, swoosh are defi knock-off [60mm] and record peak value, and have IGN self check

^ i see you have 1 gauge mounted using the "band" mount. Do you think there is room for 3 band-mounted 60mm gauges there in front of the vent thing [location you have yours]?
I have the Turbosmart e-boost mounted using the Band... I think it looks cleaner running them how I have them...... although I think there might be enough room for three of them though where you are asking
I dont have any heat/AC or radio in my car so I am using a custom carbon fiber plate and mounted two where the heat controls where and two where the radio went. I am thinking about moving some things around when I get home again. I have the JDM lower console also. So I have thought about moving them down there but I dont know how well I will be able to see them there.

You'll get a million different answers to these questions. How much are you willing to spend? What color do you want? Do you want 52mm or 60mm? Some people have luck with AutoMeter, but I think (at least their boost gauges) are garbage. You don't have to spend a fortune to get good Japanese gauges. Defi D-Gauges were pretty reasonable, but have been replaced with different color gauges.
Buzzbomb, nice pic, but show 'em a pic with your lights turned on!

For gauges that you want a precise readout, Japanese gauges like Defi or Greddy are hard to beat. I've tried using Autometer, SW and VDO electrical water temp gauges, but none of them could give a clean readout for the regions between 185 deg F and 195 deg F. It's always a short sweep electrical gauge and very slow acting as well.
I have SW gauges for oil temp and boost; water temp and EGT are Greddy gauges, and AFR is an AEM wideband for the Integra:

Here are some Defi D-gauges for my other car:

I got the base off of ebay. It was all plastic that had a large swivel base molded to the bottom that I cut off so it would sit closer to the steering column. I then drilled a hole in the bottom for a screw and used a rubber bushing cut down for padding.

If you plan on tuning your car yourself or like to know the exact read for crucial guages like boost egt ect I would highly suggest 2 5/8. When trying tune and if your running enough boost with a decent sized snail looking at your boostgauge, EGT and then the tach road AFR ect. It all goes by really fast and tiny #s are quite hard to read. When My next setup will have a 2 5/8 boost gauge, EGT and Im not sure of the third gauge Im going to run but it will prolly be 2 5/8 as well.
