Garrett GT28R?
Ok I know this is a newb question so everyone rag on me for not searching,
(even though i did)
Is a Garrett GT28R Dual Ball-Bearing Turbos too small for a B18B? I'm looking for a street set up, no drag. I see they are pretty cheap for a BB Turbo and I don't plan on super boost or 300+ hp. I just want to have more of a kick'n daily driver.
I'm just looking for some of you pro's opinions

Re: Garrett GT28R? (Captian_Honda)
if yur lookin into the garret gt28r its a great turbo....and looks like you have the same goals as me....street set up...no crazy numbers....just a nice power curve...as soon as winters over i have a garret/avo hybrid turbo....something like a t28/small t3ish...and boost is hitting hard by around 3400...and ill hpoefully be puttin nice numbers down....dont get me wrong...much respect to people with 350 whp + setups...its just not for my needs...and doestn seem to be for this guys either....if your going to spend the money on the gt28r...id go with the gt28rs so when you get boost crazy...and want to upgrade...you can just turn it up and get a nice tune

Re: Garrett GT28R? (yehiknowrite)
please use search.
people are always talking about the t28 and other smaller turbos.
yes it would be kick *** on that b18b turbo should be ideal for streetable powerband with boost kicking in early.
