Future turbo but need clutch now. Advice?
Hello, I intend to install a turbo in 6-12 months but my clutch is going out now. Is there a clutch that will be fine for daily driving now in my stock GSR and work well with a small turbo kit? Goal is about 275 hp. Thanks.

Absolutely. Its good to plan that now, and not have to worry about that later. I strongly recommend two particular companies that can work for the NA now, and yet still hold plenty of torque for the 300whp that you'll more than likely get.
1) Exedy - 08950B Stage II 3 puck sprung hub clutch.. So nice, that even my sister drives with that clutch right now for her daily commuting duties. Don't let the word "puck" scare you; the fact that they utilize springs on the face plate make clutch pedal travel very easily.
2) Clutchmasters FX300 - this is a full-face kevlar disk with springs. Works VERY well for both NA and turbocharger very similar to the Exedy. Both are affordable and priced well.

You're welcome.. One last one, though not my favorite is ACT's AI4-HDSS, but it is a distant 3rd choice
And no.. nothing else, regardless of any "deals" you see. No "XD", No Action, Spec, and Competition doesn't doesn't seem to have that much of a selection for the lower torque level clutches.

I run a act unsprung 6 puck and hd pressure plate on my daily, no complaints of chatter, just squeals occasionally. Drives great and has handled everything ive thrown at it, pedal is kinda stiff but doesnt bother me unless in 5 oclock traffic.......... But my daily is a 57trim lsvtec on 20 psi.....

i can tell you this: i went from the act xdr6 to a comp st5 with upgraded pressure plate and it was literally like going back to a stock clutch. im becoming less and less of a fan of act as the years go by.
that said, my friend had the hdss on his 300hp stock motor turbo gsr. it never had any issues and saw a good 15 hits at the track on bfg street kdw tires around 3500 rpm launch.
i also like the idea of an exedy clutch
