Full Race SR20DET Equal length manifold vs Company X...

Well,
We finally got the car back on the rollers last night after hours. tuning was with 93 octane only no race gas. After talking to alot of other tuners we decided to not take it above 400 Hp on 93. That proved to be a tough task...LOL
405Hp / 308Tq @ 1.05 Bar (15.2 psi) - SAE Correction
Dyno Graph to be posted later today...
That is the same power at 1 psi less than my previous setup, however, these runs were done with Full 3" exhaust ( before it was open 3" downpipe). AND...last night it was about 95 Deg F up on the dyno (gotta love florida) where as the previous runs were done at 65 Deg F ambient. Furthermore i think more gains could be had from cam gear tuning. we picked up SO much last time dialing in the cams...but that was to the old flow characteristics of the motor, this manifold has drastically changed the flow properties of the engine
So to sum up... The Full-race manifold works very well. It made the same power at less boost even with far less favorable conditions, and a full exhaust.
want to know what it's like to go for a ride?? go check this thread.. Mr. X took the car for a test ride after tuning last night.

stealing my thunder eh?
In case anyone remembers, the car in question here is the same one I posted about a couple of months ago. We're expecting big big numbers on race gas.

heheh i didnt know you were online i got excited, since this is better than an equal length vs log comparo, equal length vs equal length is more interesting.

We made one KA manifold, but there has been little to no interest as most KA guys are very budget minded, and love log manis.

i dont think the turbo would clear the hood in FWD configuration, most SR manifolds are bottom mount for FWD, this one is top mount.
