Default Full race set-ups

What is everyone's thoughts on full race turbo set-ups....? Not quite sure what I want to run yet and honestly don't know where to start with picking the correct setup. Been looking and reading at a lot of different threads on here.
Plans:
B18c block
Bored/sleeved 84-85mm
Gsr head pnp and 5 angle valve job
Skunk 2 ultra manifold
Not sure about cams... Leaning towards skunk2 pro 2 or 3
Skunk2 lma assemblies
Not sure about rail and injectors yet
Hondata s300

As far as HP/tq numbers.... Pretty much the most I can make.

Just looking for opinions and suggestions. Not looking for someone to tell me exactly what to buy or build. I'm very mechanical inclined but this will be my first turbo build. Had a built ls in this eg before I decided to yank it cuz I wanted more.

Kind of hard to say what is better for your needs with no info of what injectors and type of fuel you're going to use.

Full Race makes good kits, if you want to go with an inclusive kit. You could save money by piecing together your own setup, but then you have to make sure you have everything you need, which can be intimidating for a first timer. If you want to go that route, though, check out the FAQ sticky - it will tell you what you need.

Junk2 No. Bad. Stop. They are a bad company, and there are other companies who make equal or better hardware that are more worthy of your money. You don't strictly need an aftermarket fuel rail until you're pushing four digits of power - until then, it's just bling factor. RC's website has a great injector calculator, found here, that you can use to figure out what size you need.

I'm confused by the second part of your response Notaracist... Lol what's Junk2?
I think that is a lot of my problem is I am overwhelmed with all the research that I have been doing. In turn it is intimidating me as far as what to run and what not to run. I like the idea of buying an inclusive kit seems easier. But yes I can see the point of piecing it all together to save some moola..... so cofusing!!!!!

Just google "Junk2" and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Skunk2 is a **** company.

ahhhh i see.... hmmmm I haven't had any issues with any of their products. I have found them to be readily available and quite reasonably priced. I would love to find some other products to use if thats the case. Being I have seen the amount of posting you do and your full array of knowledge.

It's not necessarily their products. Their hardware isn't bad, per se. It's the people running the company. It's the way they run their company. There are other companies out there that are more worthy of your money.

Totally understandable. I've dealt with many a companies that are like that being I've been in the auto game for QUITE a few years now. So I Guess the true reason for this post is I'm having trouble in trying to figure out what trim and a/r i would need to run. More or less how to figure that out..... I've seen a lot of posts about the gt35r. I obviously want to run a turbo that is reputable.... Not an ebay special. No offense intended.

For proper turbo selection, you need to decide on a power goal. Different power goals will require different turbos, as well as different supporting mods. Stock B series, you're limited to 300, maybe 350 WHP. Forged internals will bring you up to around 400. Beyond that, you'll need more supporting mods. In short, the more power you want, the more expensive it'll get.

Pick a power goal, or at least a budget, and work from there.

And yeah, the sig is a whole other thing about a guy who made some...let's call them uncouth comments about another individual who is better known in the same field of work, and in the process, made a complete *** of himself.

Gotcha. Ok well then I guess I have some more thinking to do. Budget isn't an issue(basically have the ability to get whatever I want). I will be driving this eg more on the street then I will be the track. It will be all forged internals. I know I left a lot off the plans list but I was just trying to get some opinions. I've at least made one decision... I'm going with a equal length ram-horn manifold. Lol

Well I'm glad the quote has nothing to do with me. At least I hope not. Hahaha

Heres a full race ac ram horn very clean welds inside and out, the pictures don't do it justice was its much cleaner than it looks. I can send you more pics later if you send me a pm.
You might want to base your turbo according for what and how you plan on using it. As far as other companies go I know lighting teg just got one from spooling performance, maybe he could share some pics of the inside

Thank you very much. I do like the looks of the ram-horn. I'm thinking thats the way I want to go. I'll figure it all out slowly but surely. I've got plenty of time. Still considering an inclusive kit. I was looking at the go-autoworks site last night too. They have some very nice set-ups also.

Cant really give you advice with "As much power as I can make".

On 93, that is your limited factor and safely 450whp-500whp depending on how efficient everything is.

Going to need Meth , E85, or race gas which will determine what injectors and fuel pump you need

Pump 85, a flex fuel sensor, compatible ECU, and a competent tuner could get you there when the gas is good.
