fueling problem
Hey guys wondering if you all could give me some ideals of what might be causing my high fuel pressure. My fuel setup is this:
Walbro 255 pump
AEM FPR
AEM Fuel Rail
RC 500 injector
Fuel Pressure Gauge
Now my problem is that i cant get my fuel pressure to drop down. I have the biggest orfice in and i still cant back the pressure down. I have tried both High Pressure and regular Walbro 255 pumps and it just will not back down. I swapped out FPR and Fuel Pressure gauges and still nothing. Has anyone heard of anything like this before. Maybe i am just doing something wrong. I have an orginal 93 SI SOHC 1.6 pump in and it works just fine i can adjust with no problem. I dial in the pressure with the stock pump and then swap out to one of the Walbro's and start the car and it pegs to around 80 psi with the vac hose on and will not back off. If you try to back the adjuster all the way out to drop pressure it kills the car, but still does not drop pressure. I have tried 5 different pumps. Anyone????????
