Default Fuel sumps, other than full-race

First and foremost, no offense to full race, i just can justify paying $100 for the sump. So im asking to see if anyone else makes these, I know im going to need one, but i feel im paying for the full-race name over product with the sump. Once again, no offense, i run a full race h.o. so i believe on things like manifolds and turbos and stuff the pricing is pretty justifiable.

there is only 1 welder around here that i would trust to do that, (welds look like full-races robotic welds) but he stays out of town most of the time. So, im just checkin around, ya know?

i know flamenco-t did it with like 3" pipeing or something, i mean that would be fine with me. I dont ever really plan on running my car low on fuel anyways, so i dont need one that super extravagent or anything. But i will check the other ideas you mentioned.

I have a couple friends-5 exactly that all run Competition Sumps and have had no problems what so ever w/ them. 1 of them made 883whp on a sleeved B-series w/ the competion sump and aeromotive a1000 fuel pump.

Your talking about peter with the 883, and im guessing the others may be trin, bee, alfonzo... maybe danny? Yeah, i know them. But isnt all the c.e. sumps like a foot wide? cause i seen one at summit, and that thing was huge so i didnt figure it would work.

p.s. if i need to delete their names, i will.

the only thing with the competition sump is pretty damn low and very wide. If your looking for one thats easy to install i would go with something that actually fits a honda tank.

There actually not that bad. Peter has it on the integra, Bee had it on his white H22 coupe, Danny has it on his EK(he used to drive that car on the street all the time w/ that sump-he drives like 30-45 minutes each way to work down 85), Alfonso has it on his ITR, and Greg has it on his 00 Si(he drives his car on the street occasionally also). It's really not that bad and it's only like $60.

Aren't you located on the Southside?? You're right around the corner from Summit.
You won't be dissapointed-just pick one up.

Oh and Trinh made his own fuel cell on his hatch, he didn't run a sumped tank. David also made his own fuel tank but it was up front.

Of course they work, its a pretty simple part. Ive installed a few of them, time is money though if your not installing it yourself or have a friend that can weld. You save $30-$40 on the sump but can easily pay that or more having a part that doesn't fit well installed.
