Default Fuel Setup - 6xx WHP on E85

Hello, I was unable to find a calculator or previous thread regarding a combination of these parts and goals. Figured id ask the masses

Is the following capable of 6xxwhp on E85? I know it can be done with c16 but e85 requires much more fuel. I am still on the fence about which fuel I plan to run for high boost but having recently switched to the aem v2 w/cop etc the flex fuel is looking more appealing. I want to make sure my setup can do either option with room (no 100% duty cycle nonsense lol). Goal is 450ish on pump 93 and what ever I can make on c16 or e85, setup is ideally shooting for low 6xx. Anything higher is a plus but not really setup for much higher (a2w IC limitations)

-walbro 450
-id 1300
-aem rail
-aem fpr
-stock lines

^This is the current plan with everything purchased except the injectors. I read that anything over 1300's have idle concerns but also heard from people that's nonsense. I know that's plenty of injector for c16 but its so damn expensive now that i was considering going e85. I could have it tuned on 93 pump and again on e85 etc. Ill make an entire build thread shortly its still a bit premature as I am purchasing parts and getting what I need fabbed up etc. Mostly just a basement full of shiny things

Thanks

I would go with ID2000's and call it a day, no idling issues at all. This way you have no issues with flow and room to grow if you want.

Im on the same boat these days and i found out that AEM fuel rail is 6AN feed...
If youve ever need 8an youll need bigger inlet rail.
Im justr leting you know. I didnt know it oo 3 days ago too.

Thanks I hadn’t even noticed. My setup really won’t be pushed much past 6xx because my IC is only rated for 650 and that’s a stretch. It’s not possible to go any bigger and my build is around the manifold/IC.

I am presuming stock lines are sufficient for low to mid 6xx as long as the pump and injectors can flow enough. I’d rather keep stock lines anywho as the AN fittings and lines get pricey fast.

thanks, this seems easy enough. By your answer I presume stock lines are fine for these levels so long as injector size and pump is adequate?

thanks for your time, stepping up the injectors is easy enough 👍

I think I switched from stock lines around the mid 650whp range along with changing to 4ID 2000's and had zero issues.

My injectors flow tested at 2400cc and I have a DW400 intank pump with 10an lines and I’m only around 57-60% duty just under 700whp..... idles fine
