Default fuel pump question????

hi to all interested. question at bottom of post

first off lemme start by saying, "i am not perfect or a genuis". with that being said i currently live in a decent size city in north carolina. honda's are my second life. i am pretty new to the boost realm. i have turboed my car and a few for some buddies. i have been swapping hondas for 6 years now. i recently did a procharger on my buddies 98+spec b18cR powered ek hatch back.

car: 1996 civic dx hatchback

engine: jdm b18c 98+ TYPER 4.78 final drive lsd

brakes: brembo crossed and slotted 4 corners

suspension: 00 si dropzone struts+springs, skunk2 camber kit, ASR rear sub-frame brace +
24mm solid rear sway bar

exhaust: omni test pipe; apexi world sport omni back

ecu+fuel: hondata s300 - 440cc rc injectors converted obd-1

power adder: procharger 10 psi

new rings / cometic .030

charger installed

back together

so to my question.
Q: we are running the stock fuel pump with the 440cc injectors and the s300. revlimit at 8000. and the car is burning rich to redline. "yes, he will be getting a tune very soon". with that being said. do any of you guys think a 255lph fuel pump is necassry. i don't think so saying it is already rich. thanks for your input. p.s. if ya don't know what you are talking about don't respond. i am no idiot.

@440cc, your stock fuel pump will ultimately fail you. It may seem like it's running rich now, but a proper tune will tell for sure. But for < $90, a walbro 255 can't go wrong.

you spent how much on the setup, but you are wondering about a 100$ fuel pump...

seems like a no brainer to me!
