Default Fuel pump problem

ok i got a walbro 255 with my car and went to put the pump in and it doesnt pump any fuel..just hums..like u can hear the pump come on just doesnt return any fuel to the motor..my car is a 95 integra ls (boosted) is there somethin i should cut or tap or anything i should try?

I just put one in my EG and it was basically a plug and play install - did you hook up the pick up filter and install the lockwasher for the filter so it does not fall off? Also did you tighten the short hose from the top of the fuel pump?

yea..i did all that..idk why the pump would hum but not pump fuel..

Well then I would suggest putting your stock pump back on and if it works then its the pump and it probably has an internal fault OR check your fuel pump power wires for the correct voltage (should be at least 12V). Check your fuel pump fuse as well, I read on H-T these aftermarket pumps require a higher fuse as well...

yea i already put the stock pump back in..might try that and see if it works..

Oh, so if the stock pump works then, the new pump is the problem - I would return it. Good luck man!

ohm the fuel pump ive had problems with walboro, like .....it doesnt wanna pump fuel anymore when i reach a 1/4 tank so i returned the first one walboro claims to have had a bad batch of pumps so then i used the second one for about 2 months and it failed altogether so i now have a stock accord pump
