Default Fuel pressure issue!!

Ok..Running a JRSC on a LS/VTEC stock fuel system except a Walbro 255 pump. My question is my car will not run. i cracked the nut open on my fuel filter and it had what i think to be way more pressure that its suppose to. pulled the brand new plugs and there dry. So what do you guys think it could be?? just throw some ideas at me! Thanks boys

So your car has never run?

When did it stop running?

I hope you dont have the stock plugs in there ... so you cracked the nut and your leaking fuel? Was the walbro installed incorrectly? Can you here the pump prime when you turn the key?

You think it's the fuel pressure why?

There are any number of things that could cause your car not to run.

How does it not run? It doesn't even turn over? or it stumbles and dies?

You're going to have to give us a lot more background info if you want help.

P28s like to die on you. I had to repair mine. If your pump isn't priming, it's either your P28 (very common problem) or your main relay (very common problem).

It must, considering he thinks there is *too much* fuel pressure for some random reason.

What do you mean too much pressure? What exactly were you doing with the filter?

When you relaese pressure from the filter some should spray correct? Well mine burst out quite a bit more than i think it should have. and i can hear the pump.

While that sounds like a neato shadetree mechanic method of measuring fuel pressure, it's not very scientific.

I dunno. You've given us nothing to go on.

engine needs a few things:

1) fuel
2) air
3) spark (at the right time)

one of those areas has a problem.
