Default fuel pressure

What's a good fuel pressure to run on a sohc boosting 8psi? Should I get a fuel pressure regulator, or just a high volume fuel pump?

I have the edelbrock kit with the piggy back link. I'm planning to get a walbro 255 pump and was wondering if I should get a fuel pressure reg. and what to set it at for around 9psi of boost

Stock pressure (I don't know what it is for your car) and you do not need a fpr unless you are one of those people who's pressure rises with the install of a high flow pump. Unless edelbrock has any suggestion to go along with that kit of theirs.
