Fuel Management: Boosted H22A
Hi, everyone!
I am in the process of building my h22a with asprirations of seeing 450hp on the dyno. I need some advice on fuel management.
I've seen some people running set-ratio FMU's, rising-rate FMU's, both with and without adjustable FPR's. However, most of what I've seen didn't include any type of aftermarket tunable engine management such as Hondata or the AEM EMS; mainly just reprogrammed P28 ECU's and such.
I'll be running the HONDATA system on my engine, and will be having it tuned by the local dyno/hondata guy. Is there a need to have any kind of FMU, since the Hondata should be able to take care of the fuel management internally?
Also, what size injectors would have a high enough flow rate to support a 450hp H22A?
Thanks in advance for your time and help!
Dan P.

Central NC?
Stroll over to http://www.carolinahondas.com and JDogg will be all over your car... he's an ex-H22 Accord boy, a good number of H22 swaps under his belt, does most of the CH.com crew's Hondata/EMS tuning.
He can help you with either Hondata or EMS, and I can provide access to an Uberchips Honda ECU tuner if you want to try some Brand X goodness at a good discount.
Sorry to spam HT with another board, but it's a local scene thing. These are people he should meet IRL, man can't subsist off the www alone.

Re: (00si5)
You will be fine with 720cc injectors and Hondata. If you want to you can even go bigger like 980cc and be fine with the Hondata. If you need injectors shoot me an instant message. Thanks

J. Davis:
Thanks for the link. I've been looking for a few more forums that are a bit more localized. At least on the same side of the country! 8-) I've just registered with CH.com, as you recommended, and will look up this guy you speak of and mention your name and recommendation to him. Thanks again for the help!!!
GRTechnologies:
I'm definatly looking for a set of injectors! It seems that 720cc seems to be the general recommendation for the goals i've set for myself. I'll definately send you an IM as soon as I'm ready to get them. Thanks for your help as well!
Thanks everyone else for the time and help also!
