yea but the basic m4 at that price doesn't come with a wideband, but the speed pro does. also, the speed pro is so much easier to mess with than the motec.

i think autronic is the best compromise between features, ease of use, and most importantly price.

As someone who's messed with different kind of efi for the past couple of years, i took a quick look at a motec system installed in a car that had problems, and i knew i was out of my league. that thing is crazy complicated. someday soon i'll be competent to mess with it.

lucky you! free wideband is always nice.

however, motec has come down in price a lot these days, and if i had the opportunity (funds) it would be a hard choice between the motec and sm2.

Doesn't motorola have some kind of digital fuel injection or something of that nature?

Yeah it's called EMS by AEM... They make them and AEM puts their name on them.

the PMS is pretty nice for a real PnP unit. works flawlessly on my JRSC ITR. decent software option for it as well. a bit expensive, but i like it a lot.

for street/strip i recommend apexi power fc.especially for someone that is going stand alone for the first time.when you buy it,you can pay $100 for them to go ahead and install a base program that is very close.that way, dyno time will be very small.after i got mine in,dyno time was only 3 hours.we hardly had to touch it.i simply abuse the car all i want and never have to touch it.i use race gas on high boost and pump gas on low boost and read the knock count.if it is high,i turn down the boost.if it is low,it turn it up.very good system in my opinion.you may hear people say that it is limited in the things it can do but it is not.the people that say that have not used one enough to know.all in all,it is the best investment i have made to the car.i wish i would have found that out the first time(before i bought the haltech) and i wouldn't have blown 2 sets of pistons.

I should be picking my car up later this week with the Accell Gen 7 wired and ready to go. I'll let yall know how it goes. By looking at the software on the site and all the options, it does everything Speed Pro does and much more. It evens has trouble codes like a stock ecu, three stage nitrous setup, and can save up to 30 minutes of datalogging! I believe it even has the option of a 2 step, but I can't remember. It looks much more user friendly than AEM, which i am still trying to sell. Get on there site, http://www.mrgasket.com , and check it out!

someone told me the accel software is weird. basically theres different levels of software, which allow you to different things. like novice, intermediate, and master software. i also heard that they had issues with their wideband initially. that was a long time ago, maybe the got their stuff all together now.
