Default FMU questions?

I tried the search option before I posted this, and it said it was unavailable. I've got a 94 Integra RS, and I'm giong the turbo route. My question was for the time being I was planning on running an FMU, until I figure out if I want to go w/ Hondata or AEM. The turbo is going to be a 14b, running about 7-8psi, no more for the time being. What ratio w/ the FMU should I go w/ to at least make sure it's not running lean at the least. Is 12.1 going to be my best option or would an 8.1 or 6.1 do it? I'm going to get the missing link, as well as a walbro 255 pump to run w/ this. Is ther anything else I may be overlooking to run this properly?
I appreciate any information, just trying to get this setup and running as well as it possibly can w/ and FMU.

I am gonna guess the 12:1 with an AFC hack is gonna be your safest/cheapest plan. And remember you'll need a FPR to controll that 255 pump.

you dont need a AFC if you are going hondata, just get the FMU 12:1, missing link and Walbro pump. taht way ehn you go Hondata or something else all you will need is injectors. thats what im doing until i save enough cash to get my car tuned on Uberdata and 550's. I have A LOT larger turbo than a 14b also and on 8psi. it runs fine, in boost plugs look great. Ran 12.7 @ 110 on this meathod also

Oh yeah, the guy i was talking about is NSXmatt, hes had his FMU setup for over a year at 10psi on a drag kit. on a stock B16 his best time is a 11.8 on 10psi. So this meathod should be plenty fine until u go AEM or hondata or somethign else. good luck

Sounds good so far. I jsut don't want to run lean, I'd rather run rich for a while until I get a program. There's a guy in town running a turbo civic, w/ an FMU for I Beleive 6 months or so now, and is still running 175+ compressoion thru out.

try to find a cartech FMU....you can adjust it like a fuel presure regulator from 12:1 to 4:1 and no need for calibration discs is nice
