FMU question... troubleshooting

Default FMU question... troubleshooting

The ohter day when we swapped out the FMU disk, the solinoid was level with the top of the post it sits in... can anyone tell me if thats the natural position or should it be down inside the tube it rests in..

?

it is supposed to touch the diaphram.
