Hi guys..

I have a vortec FMU with a 12:1 disc. I also have a 10:1 and a 8:1 disc

I am running stock injectors and inline pump. My car is running really rich right now. Should I go down to 10:1 or 8:1 considering I am still running stock injectors.

Also, swapping the disc is it a stright forward deal or do i have to look for something?

take it down to 10:1, it depends on how much you are boosting. swappin disks should be pretty straightforward. read your plugs and have someone stand in the back to look at your exhaust, to see if its black.

 

i am boosting 6-7 psi.. i know it running rich... plugs show it and the smell of gas and the sure shot black smoke coming out the tail pipe...

 

abut the vortecSFMU i heard it comes pressable for a ceratain setting whic hsetting is this and will it be ok for stock injectors walboro 255 intank pump and a turbo kit simiar to rev hard boosting 10 lbs?
