They sell a variety of FMUs, it is the ratio of fuel pressure to boost as you should know.

pretty much none are good for your car. Get some real management. That high of rail pressure doesn't sit well with me anymore.

To answer your question since nobody else can seem to ever give a straight answer without saying FMU's suck get EMS or Hondata, which FMU's are not the safest but as along as you are running lower boost (under 9psi) they are not that horrible for your car. Get the 12:1 FMU and dont run high boost and you will be fine.

My brothers car lasted 30,000 miles on FMU and Missing Link setup until we cranked up boost for the hell of it. When you wanna run more boost look into Uberdata or Hondata. Good Luck

fuel management is the most important part.......with the right tune youll make more power on the same boost. get uberdata!! (http://uberdata.pgmfi.org)

There are a vaiety of ratios available for the FMU's. They are inferior to engine management systems, but can be ran safely under high boost if set up right. I ran over 22psi on stock ecu and FMU w/ 370's years ago. Not by choice though, Hondata (or similar units) wasn't around back then.

I am going to run about 5-8 psi so i guess ill be fine with 12:1 ratio FMU.... Do I need to buy fuel rails, injectors, or fuel pumps? for FMU?? I know they are needed for Hondata and uberdata

if only running that much psi, just get a fmu, INLINE fuel pump and a missing link.

no need anything else.

you only need to buy larger injectors if you running uberdata or hondata...........for an FMU app i believe you may need a larger fuel pump to push more fuel through the system.

Here is a great link that will answer a lot of your questions. It is a lengthy read but is all about installing a turbo set-up on a Honda. I do not agree with everything the author states, however it is a good starting point

http://www.beesandgoats.com/bo....html

By the way, I started with the AFC Hack and switched to Uberdata. I am still in the tuning mode now but am reasonably happy with it. I guess the question you have to answer is this: do you feel confident tuning it yourself or do you want to take it to a tuner and forget about it. If you want the latter, then you should consider Hondata or AEM etc. Uberdata is a do it yourself program and it could get expensive paying someone else to do it for you on the dyno. I hope all of this helps and good luck
