Default FMU?

I know it's not smart to run FMU with a turbo setup. That being said, I'm waiting for replies on who does chipping and tuning in AZ. My question is what ratio fmu should I get if I have a 93 del sol. and I'm just going to run 5-6 lbs. of boost. is 10:1 to much?

12:1 and you'll be fine. I'd suggest you retard your timing 1-2*..

you can use an fmu with a turbo set up and have no problems. just stay under 8psi and you'll be alright.

use whatever FMU came with the kit. i think most kits come with the 12:1 fmu.

Thanks guys. Unfortunatley I didn't buy a kit. I pieced this one together myself. I'm doing this on my own so any other advice (other than don't do it) would be helpful.

The car is a 93 del sol S. I have a mini-me swap in it. The turbo is a TE04H. I have the adapter plate so it mates with a HF manifold. My friend has a 12:1 fmu, and he has a breggy blue box (not sure what this does), I'll probably buy the stealth mode oil line kit. Everything else is just tuning and piping, right?

dont use the greddy blue box of death just get a walbro 255 and an fmu you'll be fine i ran my 94 hatch with ls swap t3/t4 at 10 psi. with just a fuel pump and an fmu with absolutely no timing retard on race gas..... on sunoco 94 pump i ran 8 lbs and the olny time i noticed any detonation was when it was 90 degrees out at 10 psi. so just get the fmu and the fuel pump if your doin that way but i do suggest pullin atleast i degree of ignition timing

I'm going with the Blox FMU on 4 psi until I can tune on 10 psi. Should be fine on low low boost. Which Walbro should you get though? High pressure or the regular 255?

I'm running the walbro intake 255 which i believe is a high pressure.
