Default Fmax for a 00 Si

I have a 2000 Si with a b16a2 of course and i am going to be going boost soon and i really like the turbonetics FMAX kit. I was wondering if this was a good complete kit for the money.

Thanx

fmax would be a good kit if you ditch the mf2 controller and get hondata, i personally had a kit before, the mf2 sucks, no software to tune

ok so i take it that is the injector driver what is wrong with it, and on stock intenals and a 255lph inline fuel pump on about 8-9 psi how much power do u think i could make that is 3inch exhaust no converter and tuned

i run the fmax kit on my accord, its alright, although their customer service is downright terrible. the kit is well made though, even though my pipes didnt fit, i ditched the missing link, map sensor they gave, mf2, secondaries, msd btm, and am running 440's and microtech at the moment. it is a fairly solid kit. but id just go custom, it'll cost a little less, and you can put that on management. i made 231whp at 11psi on a mustang dyno with the kit, walboro in tank, stock fpr, 440's, microtech, 3inch no cat, tuned by central florida turbo. but i have an accord...
hope this helps you somewhat

Thanx, f22b2dave that helps alot but right now i dont have the money to go with a standalone so my plans are to just buy the kit install it with the fuel pump and run about 8-9 pounds of boost for right now and later on down the road get a stand alone.

i believe you can tell fmax that you don't want the fuel setup and they will subtract it from the total balance

i run an fmax kit. and if you are not tring to get real crazy the fuel setup is ok. if you have not had boost before it would give you some good seat time to play around with for a while. until you can save up for better fueling. you can adjust the mf2 for the secondary injectors. and coupled with a vtec or fuel controler it will give you a little more to play with also. but that is just my opinion.

Jeeez, haven't headrd of FMAX mentioned here for a while. I would defo go custom if you know what you want. If you don't, then I would get a more 'common' kit like Drag or Rev Hard.

FMAX is good only without the extra injectors...I ran it both ways..it was like night and day...runs so much better with a properly tuned stand alone!

And yes FMAX does sell the kit w/o the ERL MF2...its about $200 less. And yes some dealers can sell just parts...

Build your own kit. I'm priving stuff out now and I'm at about $4K RETAIL PRICES on baller **** like equal length manifolds, Hondata and injectors and that's a COMPLETE KIT. I can EASILY shave another $500+ off that buying used or 2nd hand new stuff form the classifieds here...
