Default Fixed my Rev Limiter PROBLEM with Hondata!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if anyone looked at my other post about me getting a rev limiter at 4800-5000 rpm after running the car hard and boosting. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=637265 Well we went into my current ROM and changed one BAD SPOT in my fuel BUT this did not correct the problem. DOH! Well we FINALLY changed out the Blue Box and I boosted hard up to 9000rpm in 2nd,3rd gear and part of 4th gear hitting about 15psi, Unforunatley we were unable to datalog since this particular blue box does not have the Hondalogger option . Well I did the runs over and over and over again and NOTHING no boost cut no rev limiter NOTHING! Thank God! We did change the Blue Box and the Ribbon at the same time but are pretty POSITIVE it is the Blue box and not the ribbon. Will do some testing on that as well. Could not see it being the ribbon since when it happens we turn the car off and restart it and problem was solved previously until we boosted hard again. I will post more results with swapping the ribbon out to test that out also. Thanks for everyones input on my problem. FYI this is the first time actually since my car made 581.9whp and 381 ft-lb torque but that was at 28psi, I am running 15psi and that is about 400whp AND IT FEEL'S GOOD!!!!!!!!

Hey one thing to check if you get bored one day and wanna **** with your old blue box...

Check and see what the LED is doing as you drive it. See if it stays solid red or flashes. That's how I found out my ribbon was bad, but the same symptoms will pop up if the blue box is junk as well.

Well have someone with you at least... looking over @ a box while beating the **** out of a 500+ whp car is a little insane and dangerous...

I called today and talked to the girl who answered the phone and she said to send it back with a note explaining the problem and my contact info and they would take it from there.
