fire ring problems

Default fire ring problems

okay, i searched amillion times, and got a 35mm ring from tial. why is it doing this?



all ive got is a camera phone, sorry. ive tried putting it on the manifold and tightening it down but that didnt do ****. i also took a hammer to it and got no where. any help is apreciated.

im sure its wedged in there pretty good now...after the hammer and stuff, but I had a problem with mine fitting at first but I spun it slightly as I put it in and it fell right in, before I couldnt get to fit. so from my experience I would say try spinning it as you insert it (try not to force it...at least thats what I was told through customer service)

once you tighten it down, it should seat right against the manifold

I am in the local area if you try letting me take a look at it, and add my 2 cents.

I use the same wastegate without a problem.

the part of the ring that is suppoused to seal the valve butts up with the bottom of the gate. something isnt right, trust me. its not user error.

where you the one who had problems with the supposed 38mm firering? Even though we said it was the same. In any case it looks to be in the correct direction. I'd say it's a manufacturing flaw maybe at this point . GL
